I have worked with corporate companies and created UGC for brands. My career has consisted of social media campaigns for clients with thousands of followers. I have over 15 years of experience in organic, paid and earned media. I’ve worked with different industries from hospitality to health & wellness and beyond.
I’ve managed communities as large as 11K on Facebook, 5K on Instagram, 5K on Linkedin and 9K on Twitter and over 25K on TikTok. I’ve helped multiple clients increase their social media presence by providing full audits of their profiles, growing and engaging with their audience and communities, copywriting, managing online reputation, planning and implementing advertising strategies on all the platforms, setting up and reporting on analytics as well as providing recommendations reflected upon that data. I am currently enrolled in a certification program for Data Science which will help me further my understanding of analytics so that I can give the best information to my clients from a data driven standpoint.
The Louisiana Restaurant Association is an association within the National Restaurant Association that advances and protects Louisiana’s restaurants and hospitality industry while driving economic prosperity and jobs. I worked within the marketing department there. My responsibility included overseeing strategy of the department including social media content, website, newsletter, emails and video production.
One of the biggest campaigns I worked on during my time there included our What’s on the Menu campaign. This was an omnichannel approach to drive membership and engagement. This increased brand awareness & audience engagement on all the platforms.
Organic Traffic of over ~12K sessions to the website & generated over ~1000 link clicks to other campaigns over the past few quarters. The campaign grew social media audiences on all the platforms by 50% within 6 months.
Helped to conduct interviews for the most recent ProStart Invitational. This campaign just wrapped, so it is continuing to gain traction.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a few of the top Influencers in the state, coordinating and conducting interviews as well as coordinating their appearances on LRA’s behalf at other events throughout the state.
Coordinated Panel Interview with Caitlin Minshew for LRA’s Annual Tradeshow 2024
A picture is worth a thousand words – especially in restaurants. Culinary art with the iPhone has been the norm for many years now. Not everyone has time or budget for a professional photographer, especially when it comes to the immediacy of social media and rotating menus.
I try to make sure my photos are eye-catching but natural. I have used my DSLR as well as my iPhone. The key to this art is to make sure the photos look appetizing, authentic, and intriguing.
I’ve taken courses from Udemy. Here is an example of some of my work:
